In a recent attack in Munich, Germany, a 2-year-old girl and her mother were killed when a car plowed into a crowd. The incident took place during a demonstration organized by Verdi labor union members on Seidlstrasse Street. A total of 28 people were injured in the attack, which occurred at 10:30 local time on Thursday. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Farhad N., a migrant from Afghanistan, was reported to have arrived in Germany in late 2016. Despite his asylum application being rejected, he was granted a temporary stay in the country. The tragic deaths of the child and the woman have prompted deep shock and sorrow throughout the nation, with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressing his condolences to the victims' families.
