Mother (55) and Son (23) Arrested in Investigation of Death of 11-Year-Old French Girl

paris - A mother and her son have been arrested in connection with the death of 11-year-old Louise in France.

Arrests Made in the Investigation

Two individuals, a 55-year-old mother and her 23-year-old son, have been arrested in the ongoing investigation of the death of 11-year-old Louise. The man is suspected of murder of a minor under the age of 15, while the woman was detained for failure to report a crime. Both were questioned on Monday. Earlier, a couple in their twenties were arrested but released after providing an alibi.

Louise went missing last Friday after school and her body was discovered in a forest south of Paris. The autopsy revealed multiple wounds caused by a sharp object. Despite extensive searches in the area, the murder weapon has not been found yet. The prosecutor stated that there is currently no evidence of sexual assault.

An investigation has been launched for the murder of a minor under 15 years old. Police presence has increased around Louise's school and nearby schools since Monday morning.
