Mother (24) sentenced to life for burning alive two children in oven

atlanta - A 24-year-old mother in the United States has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her two sons, aged 1 and 2. The woman burned her sons in the oven, bringing an end to the family tragedy as she now spends the rest of her life behind bars.

The incident occurred in 2017 when Lamora W. herself called the American emergency number 911 to report that an oven had fallen on her youngest son. Her one-year-old son suffered severe head injuries. W. claimed to have just returned home from work and knew nothing further.

Almost simultaneously, the father of the deceased children contacted the authorities, who were already close to the scene. The father provided a completely different story than his wife: W. had shown her husband the gruesome tragedy via video chat. The children were indeed placed in the hot oven.

Initially, the autopsy revealed that the children's heads were wedged in the oven, but further investigation revealed that the 1 and 2-year-old children must have been in the hot oven for a 'prolonged period'. The woman has been convicted of double murder.

W. tried to escape consequences, but was ultimately found guilty of fourteen crimes, including double murder, two counts of severe abuse, concealing a murder, and lying to the court. The woman received a life sentence for the family tragedy, with no possibility of parole. Additionally, she was sentenced to an extra 35 years in prison.
