- The Government of Germany has been more than an hour Saturday gathered for emergency talks on the events of Paris in the Federal Chancellery, the office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin. Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière give later Saturday in his department a press conference to inform the German people about the results of the extraordinary cabinet meeting.
