brussels - Countries of the European Union have so far included 4014 refugees from Greece and Italy. Netherlands had resettled July 11 367, but there are now 566 127 from Italy and 439 from Greece. This is evident from the European Commission's new figures.

Member States committed themselves last year's total record 160. 000 refugees from among others the 'frontline states' Greece and Italy, where most migrants arrive. Netherlands must still bring over 5381 next year.

The United Kingdom, Austria, Denmark, Poland and Hungary have not yet accepted refugees. Germany took only 62, but according to Italy has pledged to reinstate more people. The European Commission has repeatedly insisted that Member States should fulfill their obligations.
