More deaths from tanker explosion Pakistan

- The number of deaths by a huge explosion has risen to eighteen and feared during demolition work on an oil tanker in Pakistan that there are many more victims. The explosion was Tuesday but Wednesday was the fire that still does not came under control, according to local authorities.

There have been new explosions. On television pictures were shown large smoke clouds over Gaddani, a place to Karachi with one of the largest ship graveyards in the world. The wreck of the ship dismantling can still trapped dozens of people.

Least fifty people were injured. Firefighters were from afar are summoned but could not extinguish the fire. About the cause of the explosion is still unknown.

Gaddani is notorious for its poor working conditions in the shipping industry. Dismantlers must often do without protective gear. A few days before the explosion was still demonstrated at the wharf for better working conditions.
