More crimes against migrants in Germany
- The German police has so far this year more than 1,600 offenses registered against asylum seekers. That is more than twice as many as last year, according to Der Spiegel Tuesday.
These are politically motivated hate speech over the internet, vandalism and violence during demonstrations and actions by migrant reception. Last year, the police counted 895 such crimes.Earlier it was announced that the number of incidents has ballooned to shelter places for asylum seekers and compared to last year, four times as high.
