montreal - CF Montréal dismisses coach Marco Donadel after a 1-6-1 start in the MLS season, appoints Philippe Eullaffroy as interim coach.

CF Montréal Dismisses Coach Marco Donadel

CF Montréal has taken the decision to part ways with head coach Marco Donadel following a disappointing start to the MLS season.

Assistant Coaches Also Let Go

Alongside Donadel, assistants Jacopo Falanga and Lorenzo Pinzauti were also relieved of their duties, with Philippe Eullaffroy stepping in as the interim coach.

No post-match comments were provided by players or coaches after the team's recent loss against Philadelphia, where Montreal's record dropped to 1-6-1.

Donadel, who took over from Laurent Courtois in 2025, led the team to a 7-20-9 record during his tenure, culminating in his departure.

His exit marks the 11th coaching change for the club since its MLS inception in 2012.
