matterhorn - It is not expected that the missing German billionaire Karl-Erivan Haub is still alive in the Alps. The 58-year-old richly rich businessman disappeared last Saturday after a ski tour in the vicinity of Matterhorn, but his family has since given up the 'hope'. This reports Der Spiegel.
Haub was last seen when he took a cable car to a mountain station at almost 4000 meters altitude, the next morning he was reported missing. The search for the body of Haub has not stopped, it is still being sought.
Haub is one of the richest people in Germany. He is the owner and ceo of Tengelmann, a company that includes several retail chains, such as construction market Obi and clothing chain Kik.
