Valerie, a dachshund, was discovered by volunteers from Kangala Wildlife Centre after disappearing in November 2023 while her owners, Georgia Gardner and Josh Fishlock, were on vacation at Stokes Bay in Kangaroo Island, Australia.
Extensive Search Efforts
The Kangala Wildlife Centre conducted a search spanning over 1000 hours and covering 5000 kilometers, larger than the province of Overijssel, to find Valerie. The reunion has garnered international media attention from outlets like The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Times.
