- At a folk music festival in Munster, the German schlager singer Heino embarrassed the state minister Ina Scharrenbach (CDU) with a gift. The 79-year-old Heino gave the minister 'a golden old' record from 1981, where Heino Heimat- und Vaterlandsliedern performs, Rheinische Post reported Thursday.
Scharrenbach was smiling last weekend with Heino and his gift, but the joy was short-lived. On the gramophone record are nationalistic songs that have been brought in bad daylight by the Nazi dictatorship (1933-1945), as Wenn Alle Untreu Were (When everyone is unfaithful) from 1841. That is by the SS, the elite corps of the Nazi dictatorship, as Song of the Faith, embraced.
