Mexico prepares for Patricia

- The west coast of Mexico is preparing for the arrival of Patricia, a category four hurricane. Thursday afternoon the storm was about 385 kilometers from the southwestern port city of Lázaro Cárdenas. A hurricane category four has a constant wind speed of 201 to 249 kilometers per hour. Category five is the most severe type.

The coasts of the provinces of Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima and Jalisco should take account of heavy rain and waves up to 4 meters high. The authorities have warned the population to landslides and flooding. Patricia 's probably in the early hours of Saturday ashore.
