Statistics and Figures

Between December 2018 and July 2023, over 8,961 people were reported missing in Mexico City, with 4,461 still unaccounted for. Nationally, more than 125,000 individuals are missing.

Future Plans and Funding

The city plans to open a center for missing persons next year, offering support to families and streamlining the reporting process. An allocated budget of over 10 million euros annually will support the initiative.
