Metropolitan Opera in New York suspends Levine

new york - The Metropolitan Opera in New York has suspended former conductor James Levine (74) after new accusations of sexual harassment at his address.

On Saturday it became known that the world-famous opera conductor would have abused a minor boy for years. On Sunday, The New York Times revealed that another three men accuse Levine of abuse.

The Metropolitan has engaged a law firm to investigate Levine. Like Harvey Weinstein, Levine would also have given large amounts to at least one victim.

The maestro was forty years at the Metropolitan Opera, in which he conducted 2500 performances.
