darwin - A huge crocodile that roams through inhabited territory in Australia is finally captured after a manhunt of no less than eight years. The saltwater crocodile of five meters long and 600 kilos heavily ran into a cage. On pictures you can see how the big animal is tied to a trailer.

The beast is 60 years old and will spend the rest of his life on a crocodile farm. The animal recently found itself more and more often in inhabited areas. That is why in 2010 the hunt opened the crocodile. It is one of the largest animals ever caught in the northern region.

The largest crocodile ever caught was 6.4 meters long and was killed in the same area in 1974. About 150,000 crocodiles live in Australia. Crocodiles are regularly removed from inhabited areas. This year, and 190, especially smaller ones, were captured.
