Mayor Cologne hatred leads to violence

cologne - Rhetoric against foreigners and xenophobia inevitably lead to violence. That mayor of Cologne Henriette Reker said following the death of the British parliamentarian Jo Cox.

Reker was during last year's campaign for mayor in her neck stabbed by a man who was angry that Reker was committed to the care of refugees.

Cox was shot Thursday and stabbed in Leeds. Some witnesses have said that the perpetrator shouted Britain First. Britain First is a radical right-wing and nationalist political party.
