Maternity bombed in Syria

- In the Syrian province of Idlib Friday bombed a maternity hospital. About casualties is still unknown. The building was severely damaged by a direct hit.

The independent children's rights organization Save the Children shared this with. This organization supports the hospital in Idlib with money, of which drugs and medical equipment to be purchased. Moreover, aid is granted with the training staff.

According to Save the Children, the main entrance to the maternity hospital was hit, and would thereby victims among both staff and patients.

The hospital is the only maternity facility in the surrounding area. There will be a monthly 1,300 women and children there. Every month about 340 babies born.
