- Manchester United instruct Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho to postpone training return for potential moves away from the club. Five players seek exits from Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United Delay Rashford and Garnacho's Training Returns

Manchester United has advised Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, along with three other players, to delay their return to training to facilitate potential transfers away from the club, sources reveal.

Players Seeking Exits

Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, Sancho, and Malacia have expressed their desire to leave Old Trafford this season, prompting the club to grant them an extended break for transfer negotiations.

Sources indicate that the players will have until later in July to secure moves; otherwise, they will resume training at Carrington. During this period, they will have access to medical facilities and support services remotely.

Club's Focus

Manager Ruben Amorim aims to build a cohesive squad fully dedicated to competing for top honors with Manchester United, as per ESPN sources.

Rashford, who will need to surrender his No.10 shirt to new signing Matheus Cunha, has not played for the team since December and had a loan spell at Aston Villa last season.

Antony and Malacia were loaned out to Real Betis and PSV Eindhoven in January, respectively. Sancho, who spent most of the previous season on loan at Chelsea, opted against a permanent move.

Manchester United is set to play their first preseason friendly against Leeds United in Stockholm on July 19, followed by a three-game tour in the United States.
