Manchester United Agrees Deal with Antwerp for Goalkeeper Senne Lammens
Manchester United has finalized a deal with Antwerp for the transfer of goalkeeper Senne Lammens. The 23-year-old is expected to join the team at Old Trafford for a fee of €21 million plus add-ons.
Arrival of Senne Lammens
Lammens, a Belgium youth international, is on his way to Manchester to undergo a medical and sign a five-year contract with the club. His arrival does not necessarily mean the departure of current goalkeepers André Onana or Altay Bayindir.
Transfer Speculations
Galatasaray had shown interest in Onana but may have to look elsewhere after missing out on signing Éderson from Manchester City. Onana, however, intends to stay at Old Trafford and compete for his place, though the club is open to reasonable offers for the 29-year-old.
United also has Tom Heaton in their senior goalkeeper group, providing depth in the squad.
