alexandria - The American federal judge T. S. Ellis has determined that Paul Manafort will receive his verdict for bank fraud and tax evasion on 8 February. The Public Prosecution Service has agreed to drop charges against Donald Trump's former adviser that a jury could not agree on earlier this year.

Manafort closed a deal with the law last month. He confessed guilt in a few indictments and promised to cooperate with the investigation that special prosecutor Robert Mueller does to possible Russian interference with the presidential election of 2016. The Public Prosecution wanted to wait with the handling of the remaining allegations until Mueller had finished questioning Manafort.

Ellis, however, postponed a postponement in order to continue with the case. He decided to delete the alleged offenses on which the jury members were stuck, but with reservation. This means that the public prosecutor will be able to raise them at a later date.

Manafort (69) came to the court in a wheelchair on Friday. According to his lawyer, he has serious health problems. Experts say that he can get ten years in prison for the proven offenses.
