washington - Kilmar Abrego Garcia deported by Trump administration facing domestic violence accusations. US Justice Department responds.

Man Deported and Accused of Domestic Violence

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was wrongly deported to El Salvador by the Trump administration in March. He was deemed non-criminal by the Supreme Court and ordered to return to the US.

However, Justice Minister Pam Bondi revealed Garcia's wife, Jennifer, had reported multiple incidents of domestic violence in 2021. She provided evidence of being physically assaulted, including photos and videos.

Bondi disputed the Supreme Court's ruling and claimed new documents show Garcia's affiliation with the MS-13 gang. The US respects the court's decision but cannot force El Salvador to extradite him.

Despite the allegations, Kilmar's wife advocated for his return, criticizing the political manipulation around his case. The White House spokesperson stated that if Garcia returns, he will be deported again due to his criminal history.
