Man runs with chainsaw behind son and loses leg by lawn mower

bristol - A man from the American city of Bristol (Tennessee) lost his leg after his son was driven over him with a lawnmower. The 76-year-old man would have attacked his son with a chainsaw. The 76-year-old man has been charged with attempted manslaughter and violating his probationary period.

Agents arrived and found Douglas Ferguson with wounds on his head and his leg. The police write that in a statement.

An investigation showed that the 76-year-old man, running with a chainsaw in his hands, had gone after his son. His son was mowing the grass at the time and says he was driving his father out of self-defense. Father and son would have a constant feud.

Although the incident took place in June, the case could only now be dealt with; the injuries of Douglas Ferguson were such that he could not occur before.
