Man rapes woman and sets her on fire, comes herself over

The woman has sustained injuries to her face and her hands to the incident. According to her statement she was overtaken by the man on Monday, India Today writes.

The police reported that neighbors ran to her house when they discovered the fire. There they found the two, burning, in a room. A jerrycan kerosene was also found.

Both persons were transported to the hospital of Malda. The man died a day later.
