Man murders woman and throws her into the Seine in Paris: 'Committed a stupidity'

paris - In the French town of Loveciennes, near Paris, a woman was strangled by her ex-partner and thrown into the Seine on Saturday evening. The police were informed by AFP.
A man called the police emergency line on Saturday evening to report that one of his friends had told him that he had 'committed a stupidity'. He allegedly hit his wife after an argument, then strangled her and threw her into the Seine.
The police went to the specified address, a houseboat, and arrested the man in his fifties, who was under the influence. His vehicle was parked in front of the pier.
Two dive teams from the police and fire brigade found the woman's body at the bow of the boat.
