adelaide - An Australian wine maker who has wasted more than 27,000 liters of wine by way of revenge has issued a conditional two-year sentence on the court.

A fired Trevor David Jones demolished two years ago in the early morning the field of a winemaker and opened the barrel of four wine barrels. Thereupon, 14,000 liters of chardonnay and 13,580 liters of shiraz flowed away. The damage is estimated at around 300,000 Australian dollars, almost 200,000 euros.

Jones was angry that his father, formerly owned by the deceased winery, had sold the case. The man himself had an important position within the management of the family business, but he was fired in 2010 after a family feast. When he discovered two years ago that his father had sold the company, he was raging in anger. To take revenge, he decided to sabotage the new owner.
