Man collecting millionaire with bottles

bochum - A very smart German has become a millionaire with bottles.

The 27-year-old man made good use of the collection system in the country. There are recycling machines for plastic bottles in supermarkets. You throw the package into the machine, the bottle is crushed and you get a receipt of 25 cents.

The German managed to fish the bottle every time just before grinding. However, the receipt then came. The manager of a beverage business in Castrop-Rauxel thus managed to earn 1.2 million euros in a short period of time.

He even used several machines at once to collect as many 25 cent receipts as possible. It took him hours of work every day. He must have pushed a bottle at least 4.8 million times.

It is unclear whether he also helped others with the trick. He does not say so himself.

The fraud was discovered only after five years. He now has to pay back money to various supermarkets that he was undergoing.

The German said that he only worked as a 'straw man' for someone else. He would have received only 1600 euros per month for his hard work.
