mississippi, united states - A man named Darrell Sheriff (41) in the American state of Mississippi was buried under scorching hot asphalt due to a malfunction of his dump truck, resulting in his death.

Darrell Sheriff (41) was working on the pipelines of the dump truck when suddenly the valve opened and the asphalt was discharged. Sheriff ended up under a pile of scorching hot asphalt and passed away. "Several people at the scene rushed to help," said Sheriff Joseph Wade during a press conference. However, their efforts were in vain, as "his injuries were unfortunately too severe."

The police are conducting an investigation, but according to Sheriff Joseph Wade, they believe it was an accident. "It appears that there was a malfunction in the dump truck," Wade said.
