krefeld - The German police have arrested a man following a manhunt who is suspected of abusing children in two schools. The incident took place in Krefeld, located to the west of Venlo.

The German police have arrested a man following a manhunt who is suspected of abusing children in two schools. The incident took place in Krefeld, located to the west of Venlo.

A man reportedly entered an elementary school and abused a boy in a toilet. Shortly after, a similar incident occurred at another school a few kilometers away.

Authorities used specialized dogs in the search for the perpetrator, ultimately apprehending a 26-year-old man near a school. The suspect is said to be a known individual to the police and does not have a fixed address.

The first victim was able to recognize the suspect in photos, as reported by Focus. The second child was too shocked to do so.
