Malta: solution for Sea-Watch migrants
valletta - The Netherlands and seven other EU countries include 49 migrants who are on board two ships. The Prime Minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat, made this outcome of consultations between European countries...
The migrants were rescued from the Mediterranean for Christmas by the crew of the ship Sea-Watch 3, sailing under the Dutch flag. Since then the ship has been refused by Italy and Malta. The last days the ship was off the coast of Malta. Sea-Watch assumes that the ship may moor there in the course of Wednesday. It is not known when the migrants have been strengthened enough to be brought to the Netherlands and other countries. Some two hundred other migrants are also being divided. Another ship, the Albrecht Penck, has seventeen people on board.
