verona - Fifteen precious paintings by artists such as Peter Paul Rubens, Jacopo Tintoretto and Andrea Mantegna his Thursday looted from the Museum Castelvecchio Verona in northern Italy. That's mayor Flavio Tosi disclosed.

Three armed men raided the museum and overpowered the remaining staff. The perpetrators knew as Tosi exactly what they had to have. They took eleven masterpieces and four other paintings with.
