lima, peru - The main suspect in the killing of thirteen abducted miners in Peru has been apprehended. The victims were found dead in a mine belonging to Poderosa after being kidnapped in Pataz.

The primary suspect linked to the murder of thirteen abducted miners in Peru has been captured. The victims were discovered deceased in a mine owned by Poderosa, days after their kidnapping in Pataz.

Violence in Pataz

Poderosa has been targeted by armed gangs associated with illegal gold miners. The surge in violence due to gold fever in Pataz prompted local authorities to declare a state of emergency. The criminal groups have reportedly killed 39 of Poderosa's employees in recent months.
