Macron demands clarity about Air France KLM

amsterdam - French President Macron is already involved in the battle for Air France KLM. The head of state wants 'clarity about the Dutch intentions' around the company, Bloomberg news agency writes.

The Netherlands has had a 12.7% stake in the airline combination since Tuesday, and only informed the French government about it last night. Macron then spoke on the phone with Prime Minister Rutte. The president now says that 'the interests of Air France KLM must be respected'.
