real sociedad, san sebastián - Alexander Isak is training at Real Sociedad while recovering from injury amidst rumors of a potential move to Liverpool, as confirmed by the LaLiga club.

Liverpool Target Alexander Isak Training at Real Sociedad

Alexander Isak, the Swedish forward, is currently focusing on his recovery from a minor thigh injury at Real Sociedad's training ground, Zubieta, as per the LaLiga club's spokesperson.

Recovery at Real Sociedad

Isak, who missed Newcastle's preseason tour due to the injury, is reportedly open to leaving the club this summer, with Liverpool showing interest in signing him if the opportunity arises.

Transfer Speculation

Newcastle, where Isak has been playing and scored 44 Premier League goals in three seasons, are hesitant to let him go despite Liverpool's pursuit. Coach Eddie Howe expressed uncertainty about Isak's future, stating that the player's happiness at the club is paramount.

Liverpool's Transfer Activity

Liverpool recently secured the signing of Hugo Ekitike and have added Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez to their squad. However, they allowed Luis Díaz to join Bayern Munich this week, fueling further speculation about Isak's potential move to Anfield.

Despite the transfer rumors, Howe emphasized that Isak remains under contract with Newcastle, and the club has not received any formal offers for the player at this time.
