Liverpool Set to Secure Milos Kerkez Transfer, Father Confirms

The father of Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez has confirmed his son's imminent move to Liverpool, describing it as 'basically a done deal' for around €45 million. Kerkez's impressive performances at Bournemouth have caught the attention of the Premier League champions.

Details of the Transfer

Liverpool have reportedly agreed on a deal with the Hungary international, with personal terms also settled. The club is looking to strengthen their left-back options, having recently signed Jeremie Frimpong to provide competition on the right flank.

Confirmation from Kerkez's Father

Speaking on a podcast, Kerkez's father, Sebastijan, expressed their commitment to Liverpool, stating they have no intentions of considering other clubs. He mentioned that everything is agreed upon, with only minor details left to finalize.

Liverpool's Recent Transfers

Aside from the potential acquisition of Milos Kerkez, Liverpool recently secured a deal for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz, with sources indicating a transfer fee that could reach £116 million. The club faced negotiations with Leverkusen, eventually settling on an initial £100 million deal, plus bonuses.
