Little faith in Syria truce

- The probability that the cease-fire persists in Syria, is smaller than the probability that it is violated. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov underestimated the success of the ceasefire on 49 percent, he said Saturday at the annual Munich Security Conference.

Lavrov's German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier is slightly more optimistic: he thinks the chances of success of the cease-fire is 51 percent.

The file, which the world powers agreed in the night from Thursday to Friday, to take effect next week. There should also soon launch humanitarian aid in the war-torn country.
