Lightning Bangladesh claims more lives

dhaka - The number of people in Bangladesh by lightning strikes to life has been increased in four days to 65.

CNN reported Monday. Most of the victims were farmers and construction workers who were affected in the countryside in the north and central Bangladesh.

Also in the capital Dhaka were victims, where the lightning struck, inter alia, on a football field where at that time at least ten students were playing a game. Two young men were killed.

Thursday claimed the most lives, when 34 people were affected deadly. Friday there were 21 casualties, seven Saturday and Sunday three more. Last year, in Bangladesh, 274 people are killed by lightning.
