- Two former officers of the secret service of the former Yugoslavia have been sentenced to life for murder 33 years ago on German soil.

That German media reported Wednesday.

According to the German court, the 74-year-old Zdravko Mustac and his 71-year-old colleague Josip Perkovic responsible for the violent death in 1983 Stjepan Durekovic, opponents of the former regime in Yugoslavia. He was killed in the Bavarian Wolfratshausen. The two present Croats have admittedly not slain activist himself but the murder or decreed by the court.

The Croats had called for his acquittal. Croatia gave the two men in 2014 under strong pressure from Germany.
