LG shows rollable OLED screen at CES

- LG presents technology during CES in Las Vegas a prototype rollable OLED screen. This was reported by The Verge.


         LG made in July 2014 already known to be an ultra-thin, retractable 18-inch display was developed. That screen had a resolution of 1200 by 810 pixels. The South Korean company said then that the image quality was not affected by rolling up the display. It is not clear whether the technology since then has not changed and if so, at what level.
The rollable display is certainly not the only new product that LG at CES draws the attention. The South Korean company also presents include a 98-inch television consumers with an 8K resolution, a double-sided 55-inch screen, for example, can be used as advertising in shops and a curved 25-inch display in the car.
CES is held annually at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event runs from 6 to 9 of January.
