tel aviv - The Clinton affair is still sensitive to Monica Lewinsky more than twenty years later. The former White House trainee was asked at a TV show in Israel if she still expects personal apologies from ex-president Bill Clinton. 'Sorry, I can not help you any further', said Lewinsky. She put down her microphone and walked away from the stage.

Lewinksy was a guest at a conference on bullying and discussed the role of social media. Towards the end of the interview, the interviewer changed the subject and Lewinsky got a question about Clinton for her choice. According to Lewinsky, clear agreements had been made for the interview. 'Before the interview I was asked if that question could be asked. I already said that I do not want to talk about it. I left because I want to show that it is more important for women to stand up for themselves. I want to apologize to the public that the conversation ended that way ', wrote Lewinsky later on Twitter.

Ex-President Clinton publicly apologized for the affair during an American TV show in June, but never did so personally at Lewinsky. Then Clinton portrayed herself as a victim of the controversial case.
