In Cuba, embassy staff and their family members were affected by conditions such as concentration problems and headaches. According to the plaintiffs, the government had to speed up their evacuation and medical treatment. The diplomats say that they already had complaints in the spring of 2017. Ottawa only decided in April 2018 to evacuate all families.
