grozny - The ruler of the autonomous republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadirov, wants to identify Russian children by means of DNA material and to bring them to Russia from the Middle East. The Moscow Times has reported that Kadirov said on social media that he is going to collect dna material in his Caucasian republic on a large scale to establish the kinship of children in Syria and Iraq.

That, according to him, makes it much easier to get them to Russia and give them the Russian nationality. In Iraq only a series of Russian women have been sentenced to life imprisonment for membership of the Islamic State terrorist movement. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs estimates that in Iraq alone about 150 Russian women and children are imprisoned.

According to Kadirov, an envoy of his in Iraq has arranged that all cases concerning the removal of children to Russia will be handled by one judge in Iraq. That too should speed up repatriation. According to the leader of predominantly Islamic Chechnya, it is a sacred duty to protect the life and freedom of Russians.
