- The studio of the Italian TV program Di Martedì (On Tuesday) was turned upside down. Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio, Minister of Labor and also party leader of the popular ruling Party Five Star Movement, entered the hall. The audience in the hall greeted him with overwhelming applause and cheers.

Radiantly, the 32-year-old minister handily handled all critical questions from the journalist who led the talk show. Later, the other deputy prime minister, the Minister of the Interior and Lega leader Matteo Salvini, appeared. He was also applauded by the audience as a pop star.

The leftist journalist who led the program will not have felt at home in his own program. A comedian also showed up. For the joke, but very appropriately, he was delicately dressed in a yellow-green suit, the colors of the government parties of the Five Star Movement (yellow) and the Lega (green).

In Europe, the Italian ministers and Prime Minister Conte get the necessary resistance. But in the Netherlands, the Conte government, which has been in power since 1 June, is being carried on. According to election polls the government parties are over 60%. They also have no opposition to fear in their own country. It is located in a dramatic parquet.

Opposition party Forza Italia is still led by Silvio Berlusconi, who is almost 82 years old, has health problems and has no successor within his party. The center-left opposition party PD, which until recently reigned, had almost 41% of the votes a few years ago. She would now be 17%.

The chairman of the PD, Matteo Orfini, even wants to lift the party. Former minister Carlo Calenda of the PD wanted to organize another dinner with a few of the party leaders. The press called it The Last Supper for the joke. But even that dinner did not go through. Calenda explained how the new secretary of the PD should be: a psychiatrist.
