Large cocaine catch for coastal Australia

sydney - In a search of a yacht off the coast of eastern Australia met with the federal police last week to 1.4 tons of cocaine. It is the largest catch ever for the Australian authorities who made the news on Monday. The drugs have a street value of converted approximately 222 million euros.

The catch was two and a half years prior investigation into a drug network operating in different countries. Six people were arrested, four Australians, one New Zealander and one with both a Swiss and Fijian passport. Several Australian security agencies worked together before.

The six suspects could get life. The police intend to carry out more arrests.
