Kremlin's Message to Europe

In a recent statement, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov expressed Russia's interest in continuing the sale of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine. Peskov emphasized that Russian gas offers more competitive prices compared to LNG supplied from the US.

Sanctions on Russia

Peskov also criticized the sanctions imposed by Europe on Russia, describing them as detrimental to both sides. He labeled these sanctions as violations of international law and illegal restrictions.

Gas Shipment Disruption

Following the termination of the agreement, Gazprom halted natural gas shipments to Europe via Ukraine starting January 1st.
