moscow, russia - Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expresses Russia's readiness to contribute to peaceful resolution of Iran's nuclear program issues amid discussions with the US.

Kremlin's Position on Iran's Nuclear Program

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is prepared to assist in finding peaceful solutions to Iran's nuclear program issues and potentially mediate between the US and Iran. Peskov also addressed speculations regarding US sanctions on Russia and denied any planned personal contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Furthermore, Kremlin's Foreign Policy Advisor Yuri Ushakov mentioned that Russian and US representatives agreed to hold separate discussions on Iran following their meeting in Riyadh on February 18.
