Kremlin: Do not strangle North Korea economically

moscow - Russia does not intend to strangle North Korea with new sanctions economically. This said Foreign Minister Igor Morgoelov on the approach of Stalinist-ruled North Korea. This refuses to limit its nuclear projects despite sanctions from, for example, the United Nations.

Morgoelov said that the Kremlin still has no high-level contacts with the 'new leadership' in Pyongyang, but that should be possible. The current dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, came to power at the end of 2011, after the death of his father Kim Jong-il.
