Korea's restore military hotline

seoul - North and South Korea have a military hotline available as of Wednesday. The north has completed technical maintenance which has restored the connection between the Koreas. The South Korean government announced the renewed installation of the connection on Tuesday.

The sworn enemies North and South Korea are currently in discussions in the South Korean border town of Panmunjom. On that occasion, the representatives of the regime in Pyongyang announced that the hotline could be used again.

Earlier it became known that the north is sending a delegation of athletes, officials and supporters to the Olympic Winter Games to be held in South Korea next month. It is more than two years ago that the two countries were in direct contact with each other.
