Kazakhstan building collapses: nine dead

astana - In Kazakhstan, at least nine people have been slain after a building partially collapsed. Two people were taken to hospital, reported the Russian news agency Tass Monday.

The accident happened Sunday evening (local time) in the town of Saddle Chan in the Karaganda region.

There are deployed seventy rescuers. They have already rescued two children and two adults from the rubble, but the number of casualties may rise.

Whereby the building has collapsed is not clear.
