washington - Kamala Harris criticized former US President Donald Trump for allegedly making positive comments about Adolf Hitler, calling his statements 'incredibly dangerous'.

Kamala Harris has strongly criticized former United States President Donald Trump, whom she will face in November during the presidential elections in the country. Trump reportedly made positive remarks about Adolf Hitler, according to his former chief of staff John Kelly.

Harris stated that Trump is becoming increasingly 'unhinged'. Speaking outside her vice presidential residence in Washington on Wednesday, she described the reports about Trump's alleged words about Hitler as 'incredibly dangerous'.

Former chief of staff Kelly told The New York Times that Trump is said to have mentioned that Hitler has also done good things. Kelly also claimed that Trump said he wants 'generals like Hitler had'.

'It is very alarming and incredibly dangerous for Donald Trump to invoke Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the deaths of six million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans,' said Harris. 'All of this is further evidence to the American people of who Donald Trump truly is.'

Trump's camp responded by saying that Harris is 'desperate, struggling, and her campaign is in shambles. That is why she continues to spread blatant lies and falsehoods that are easily refutable,' said Trump's spokesperson Steven Cheung in a statement.
