Justice investigates gifts party Macron

paris - The French justice will look at donations to the movement of President Emmanuel Macron. According to French media, the investigation starts Wednesday and is specifically focused on the origin of 144,000 euros in 2017. It may be donations that are in conflict with the rules for the financing of election campaigns.

In 2016, the relatively unknown and non-party politician and minister Macron founded the movement En marche! (On the road!). He then presented himself as a pro-European social-liberal candidate for the presidential election.
